Lithia Springs – Roy Irle took a no hitter into the 7th inning providing another dominant performance for the Atlanta A’s. Irle went the distance giving up one run on two hits while striking out a season high 14. The A’s jumped out to an early lead in the 4th inning thanks to an Amir Kharleed three-run homerun. The A’s would tack on 3 more in the 5th with 5 consecutive A’s reaching base. The A’s received further offensive contributions from Zane Miller and Jacob Kagey who had two hits apiece. The A’s (5-1) will be off next week for Memorial Day.
